Susanna E. McNeill Westhafer, 85, Anderson, died June 17, 2003 at Community Northview, Anderson after an extended illness. She was born June 2, 1918 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and resided in Anderson, Indiana. She lived in Anderson from 1968-1976 and from 1986 to present. She was a Pastor’s Wife, Mother and a Musician. She loved music and loved to teach music to young people. She was a member of Anderson First Church of the Nazarene and a member of the Nazarene Church since 1926. She served in various elected and appointed positions in local and distric Foreign Mission Organizations. She was awarded Mother of the Year in various locations and taught Sunday School for more than 50 years. She and her husband, pastored two churches in Canada, three in Ohio, and two in Indiana; including First Church of the Nazarene in Anderson and Huntington. She is survived in death by her Husband whom she married June 26, 1940: Rev. Dexter Westhafer of Anderson. Three Children: Jane Westhafer of Toronto, Canada. Chuck & wife Marge Westhafer of Naples, Florida. Debbie & husband David Bearden of Anderson. One Sister: Roberta & husband Joe Pottenger of Ohio. Six Grandchildren: Trina & husband Mario LaFebvre of Canada. Robert Westhaver of Toronto, Canada. Jeremy Bearden of Anderson. Noel & husband Eric Whetsel of Anderson. Brad & wife Sheri Crawford of Burbank, Ohio. Robbin & husband Wayne Peeples of Wooster, Ohio. Several Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Robert E. & Emma Atkinson McNeill. Daughter: Suzie Crawford.
