Susan M. (Huff) Constantino, 61, Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at home after battling glioblastoma for over a year. She was born on December 24, 1959 in Carbondale, Illinois, to the late Robert Dean and Frances C. (Tapella) Huff. Susan married the love of her life, Daniel Ray Constantino, on September 24, 1983; he survives.

Susan graduated from Perry Meridian High School, class of 1978 and earned her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 1982 in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Out of college she worked at Block’s department store in the Lafayette Square Mall where she met her husband. Over the years she managed several corporate cafeterias, catering companies, and worked to serve others in the restaurant and hospitality industry, most recently at the Monsignor Downey Council 3660 Knights of Columbus Hall.

Her favorite job of all was being a mom and she flourished at it. Susan was active in volunteering at Holy Spirit School and then Cathedral High School – from bowling with the Cathedral Mothers’ Club to enjoying and helping with Friday night football tailgates. She was a natural caregiver, taking care of her parents in their later years and her grandson Brendan up until her diagnosis.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Dan Constantino; children, Jenna (Camaron) Beard, Tony, Demetrio, and Vinny Constantino and step-daughter Natalie Constantino; brother, Dr. Stephen Huff of Charlottesville, VA; grandchildren, Brendan Beard, Hailey and Karmin McGuire; sisters-in-law Antoinette (Tim) Martin and Patricia (Eddie) Borzabadi; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Janice Catherine Huff.
