Susan Lee Tabone Susan Lee Ruper Tabone (67) of Boerne TX, Passed away on August 27, 2014. Susan was born to Betty and Earl Ruper on November 3, 1946 in Buffalo NY. Susan, a loving daughter, grew up in Buffalo, where she graduated from Buffalo Evening High School. Her love of horses began in her junior year of high school when she began riding retired police horses at a city stable. Susan gave generously not only financially but also of her personal time and effort to help homeless children and animals thru-out her life. Susan was the cherished mother of Kimberly, Loretta, and Brian who will dearly miss her overwhelming loving and charismatic persona. Mom taught us to be fiercely independent, self-reliant and to go after our dreams. Susan made many friends in Boerne. A talented seamstress for nearly 30 years, She was also a waitress and a massage therapist. Susan befriended her customers, remembering the stories of their lives and families, and genuinely asking about them each time she saw them. Susan fought fearlessly a tough battle with breast cancer for over 8 and a half years and she did so with a determined, hardworking yet light hearted spirit. Susan will be dearly missed by her loving family and many dear friends.
