Susan Kay Shade, 57, of 638 Fourth Avenue, died Sunday, September 18, 2011 as a result of injuries from a motorcycle accident.
Susan was a 1972 graduate of the Milton High School, a 2004 Magna Cum Laude graduate from the Bloomsburg University earning a Teaching Degree in Elementary Education. She also held an Associates Degree from the Pennsylvania College of Technology in tool making.
Susan was active in the Community Theatre League, enjoyed traveling and loved riding her Harley. She was an experimental test mechanic for Textron.
Born September 17, 1954 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Daniel M. and Doris J. Edinger Shade.
Surviving are her parents of New Columbia and a brother, Barton P. Shade of Williamsport.
Susan was predeceased by a sister, Danna L. Shade.
