SUSAN HEALY, Born: June 11, 1934, died peacefully in her sleep after a long healthy life: June 4, 2017, age 82, She left behind her children John, Elizabeth, James (Françoise), Martha, Matthew (Lillie), grandchildren Ian and Theresa, her brother James (Patricia), and sister Marge, and her niece Ellen, She graduated with a BFA from the College of Mt. St. Joseph’s and was a founding member of the Cincinnati Clay Alliance. After 18 years of raising kids, Susan became a full-time ceramic artist until she retired in 2008. She enjoyed reading, family outings, and the occasional party throughout retirement. Susan was an active environmentalist and arts supporter. Susan died with a rosary in her breast pocket.
