SUSAN ELIZABETH MYERS of Manassas, VA, passed away July 23, 2024. She was born to the late Warner and Marguerite Wright, November 24, 1940, in Binghamton, New York. Su graduated from Central High School in 1958 and received a BA from Cortland State University in 1962. Su was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and teacher. She taught in Fairfax County Schools for 25 years and was a long-time volunteer at Prince William County Hospital, Manassas Baptist Church, and donated her energy and love to the Colonial Newfoundland Club. She was passionate about providing these majestic animals loving homes. Su was preceded in death by her late husband of 47 years, Kenneth A Myers Jr, who passed away in December 2013. Su is survived by her husband, Henry Peters; her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Heather Myers III, of Manassas; her grandchildren Kenneth IV and Mackenzie; and her sister-in-law Karen Gomer.
