Susan Eiden Bick passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 27, 2017 at home in Henderson, Nevada at the age of 77.

Susan was born in Boise, on September 23, 1939 to Jayne and Max Eiden.   She attended St. Teresa’s Academy in Boise, and Dominican Convent High School in San Rafael, California.   She attended college at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she was one of the first women to graduate with a finance degree.  She completed her MBA at Boise State University.

Susan grew up in the Boise East End where she was an equestrian competing at the Old Boise Armory. She also spent her summers at the beloved family cabin in McCall, where she loved to water-ski.  Susan was also an avid skier on the mountains of Idaho.

She married John Karl Bick on September 5, 1964 and moved to Chicago, where her daughters, Kirsten and Jayne were born.  The family moved to Aspen to follow Karl’s career, and that is where Andrew was born.  Susan loved Idaho, and came from a family that had been in Boise, and the Boise Basin, for generations, and she wanted to raise her children with the mountains and lakes as the backdrop, so the Bick family moved back to Idaho.

Susan’s career spanned working for Merrill Lynch in Denver, Morrison Knudsen in Cheyenne, and then she went on to have a long and distinguished career in Real Estate in both Sun Valley, and Boise.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Jayne and Max Eiden, and her sister, Virginia “Ginny” Eiden.
