Susan Louise Clegg, age 58, of Algona, died on Wednesday January 28, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center of North Iowa in Mason City. Susan Louise Clegg, the daughter of Dr. William and Maxine (Gibson) Clegg, was born on September 24, 1956 in Algona, Iowa. Susie was a resident at the Handicapped Village in Sheldon for 33 years. She then resided at Good Samaritan for two years. One of the most enjoyable activities Susie participated in was the Special Olympics, cheering on her friends as well as competing. Susie enjoyed karate, dancing, being around friends and family, singing, coloring and painting ceramics. Susie is survived by her father, Dr. William Clegg of Algona; two brothers, Howard (Perlene) Clegg of Madrid; Wayne (Michelle) Clegg of Algona; sister Julie (Scott) Sewick of Algona; nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Clegg and her grandparents.
