Suellen Steele, 72, of Freeport, died Thursday, November 7, 2013 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born October 25, 1941 in Freeport she was the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Snook) Secker.
She married Ronald W. Steele April 28, 1962 and he died in July of 1993.
Suellen worked at Crum & Forster Insurance, Economy / Met Life Insurance and was presently at H&R Block where she has been a tax preparer for over 25 years.
Surviving are her son, Gregory (Elizabeth Cox) Steele of San Jose, California; her sister in-laws, Pat and Sue Steele both of Freeport; many nieces and nephews; and her special friend, Wayne Bahn of Freeport.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Bob, Jim and Jack Secker; and one sister, Doris Liscom.
