Sue Shepherd 80, of Indianapolis, went to be with the Lord, February 5th, 2020 while surrounded by her loving family.
The longtime Johnson County native was born in Sullivan County, IN on September 2, 1939 to the late William McCammon and Mary (Alumbaugh) McCammon. She was married to Porter Shepherd who preceded her in death on January 24, 2019.
She was of the Christian faith and attended Cornerstone Church in Trafalgar. She led Children’s Bible Club with Child Evangelism Fellowship for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, reading books and entertaining guests.
She is survived by two children, Alicia Davenport (Bryan) of Greenwood, IN and Chris Shepherd of FL and four grandsons, Rick Davenport, Jared Davenport, Seth Shepherd (Alyssa), and Levi Shepherd.
She is preceded in death by her husband Porter Shepherd and her parents, William and Mary (Alumbaugh) McCammon.
