Sue Ann Hanson, 63, of Bloomington passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born, June 25, 1946 in Pontiac, MI, she was the daughter Roy T. and Dorothea J. (Marchino) Harland.
Sue was an Office Manager at the school of African Studies at Indiana University for 29 years. She was a graduate of Bloomington High School in 1964.
Sue was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who enjoyed cooking, traveling and watching baseball.
Survivors include her domestic partner and best friend, Charles A. Padula of Bloomington, one daughter, Christena Hargas and her husband William “David” of Martinsville, three grandchildren, Kimberli Hargis of Greenwood, Justin Hargis and David “Scott” Hargis both of Martinsville, one sister, Norma Bradshaw and her husband Bob of Kokomo.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roy Paul Harland, and infant brother, Tommy Harland.
