Sue Arden Killinger, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2015. She was born in New Orleans, LA on February 17, 1937. Sue, a graduate of Pensacola High School’s class of 1954, attended Tulane University. Known to many as “Toots”, Sue defined the meaning of family through her relentless passion, commitment and love for family. Her life, her legacy, is deeply rooted in her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. Toots was completely committed to the job of raising her just never quit teaching and inspiring each of us. When her health was impacted, our individual relationships and friendships inspired her to keep fighting round after round. Nothing kept her going like her family. She always said, “I am blessed” but we all know, we are the ones who are blessed. Sue is preceded in death by her parents, John Freeman Arden and Sue Morrell Fulghum, and by her daughter Susan Elizabeth Rosasco. Sue is survived by the love of her life and her husband of 34 years, D.E. “Gene” Killinger and her children: Diane (Blair) Supplee, Priscilla (Rick) Joffrion, Cynthia (Allen) Latimer, Christine (Bruce) Neu, Will Rosasco, John Rosasco, Lisa (Ron) Farmer, Lori (Greg) Globetti, Clarence Killinger; grandchildren, Ashley Mooneyham, Tommy Akers, Arden Armbruster, Liza Meyers, Kady Meyers, Matthew Latimer, Savannah Latimer and Caleb Globetti; great granddaughter Daylin Mooneyham; brother, John (Marian) Arden; sister-in-law, June Ramsey and niece, Kelly (Michael) MacLeod; nephew, Will Ramsey.
