BARKHAMSTED – RYAN – Sue Ann Ryan, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2016. She was born May 11, 1946 in Winsted, CT; the daughter of the late Patrick Ryan and Veronica (Madrah) Ryan. Sue Ann was a lifelong resident of Winsted and a very active member of the community. She served as a Dispatcher for 23 years for the Winsted Police Department and also volunteered as an EMT for the Winsted Ambulance Association for many years. Early on in her career, she owned and operated the hair salon Hair Craft in Winsted. She was known for being the best at everything she did. Most of all, she was a loving and very proud grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves her son, Shane Risedorf and wife Diane of Barkhamsted; daughter, Heidi Risedorf and husband Jason Ford of Barkhamsted; grandchildren, Stefanie Gutierrez, Zachary Risedorf, Jacob Risedorf, Nolan Risedorf, Lauren Ford and Jalen Ford; and the father of her children, Allan Risedorf and wife Doreen of Winsted.
