Stuart Anthony Marshall was born in Stuttgart, West Germany on April 5, 1972 to the late Fredericka A. and CMSGT Elliott J. Marshall.
Stuart graduated from Warren Central High School in Indianapolis and extended his education by attending Ball State University. While there, he joined the brotherhood of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity as well as The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Indiana.
He worked several jobs over the years. Most recently, he was employed at IU Medical Center as a Pathology Lab Courier. He could not say enough about how much he loved this job.
In July 2000, Stuart began dating Amanda Holmes. Their relationship blossomed and he became a father to her son, Dorian. They were married on August 4, 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Stuart, better known as “Stu,” among his family and friends, will be remembered for his love of sports (GO HUSKERS!) and his four-legged fur babies Duke, Louie & Sable. Stuart was a football and basketball coach for Washington Township and Municipal Gardens. The greatest love of all for “Stu” was being a coaching dad for Dorian’s teams. He took great pride in being an influence in Dorian’s life. He loved Dorian with all his heart.
