Stevie E. Deckard, 47, of Bedford passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at the I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. Born March 31, 1965 in Bloomington, he was the son of Steve L. Deckard and Kathleen R. (VonSutter) Deckard.
Stevie was a Journeyman Plumber for R. & S. Pluming in Harrodsburg. He was a member of the Crossroads Community Church in Bedford and he attended South Union Christian Church in Bloomington.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Jauqueline “Jackie” (Smith) Deckard, one son, Christopher Lee Deckard (Christy) of Lafayette, TN, two grandchildren, Noah and Miah Deckard, his mother, Kathleen R. Deckard of Ellettsville, his father, Steve L. Deckard of Bloomington, one sister, Angelia R. Deckard of Avon, one brother, Martin L. Deckard (Janna) of Ellettsville, his nieces and nephews, Amber Caffee (Shaun), Jessica Poole, A.J. Poole, Dillon, Carson, Blake and Lane Deckard, and his Boston Terrier and Best Friend, R.J.
