Steven L. Fields, 57, Anderson, passed away September 2, 2009 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born May 7, 1952 in South Bend, Indiana, and resided in Anderson. He lived in northern Indiana most of his life. Steven served his country in the US Army. He was a trailer manufacturer for Jobsite in Rochester. He was an avid outdoorsman, a great photographer of nature and very in tune with the native american spirit.
He is survived by his sister, Dianna Eley of Anderson; niece, Jan & husband Keith Whitesel of Chesterfield; great nieces, Emmalee, Amber and Lauren Whitesel and daughter, Jasmine Herr of South Bend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Freda Phelps Fields; son, Joshua Fields; and grandparents, Josh & Dottie Fields and Everett & Lucille Phelps.
