Steven D. Shearer age 52 of Ashland, passed away Thursday January 5, 2012 at Hospice House.
Born in Ashland on November 28, 1959 the son of Vaughn and Judith (Bee) Shearer, he had been an Ashland resident all of his life. Mr. Shearer was employed as a Supervisor with Energy Technologies.
On March 28, 1981 Steven was married to Thonda Manion who survives.
In addition to his wife Thonda, Mr. Shearer is also survived by his mother, Judith Lifer of Polk; two sons, Joshua Shearer and Seth Shearer both of Ashland and five grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and sisters in law, Darrell (Max) Shearer of Jerry City Ohio and Kevin (Marti) Shearer of Lexinton. One sister Deborah Griffin of Ashland also survives.
Mr. Shearer is preceded in death by his father Vaughn in 2001 and daughter Tara Shearer in 2010.
Mr. Shearer was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Assembly and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed Christian Music.
