Steven Andrew Harvey, 45, passed away on November 6, 2012 at the Saint John’s Health System. Born March 23, 1967 in Anderson, the beloved son of Gary and Shirley Harvey.
Steven graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1985 and attended Purdue and Ball State Universities. His education was cut short by a very serious motorcycle accident.
Steve was the Custodian Bethel United Methodist Church since 1999. He had previously worked for Securitas Security Services, construction, McDonald’s Furniture Store and Main Street Payless for 14 years.
He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing on the Bethel Church Baseball, Volleyball, Bowling and Basketball teams. He loved animals and had cats, Buttercup and Emily and dog, Bernie.
Steven is survived by his parents, brothers, Tim Pam Harvey, Jim Harvey; niece, Amanda Pugh; friend Kameron Leslie; Andrew and Clayton Harvey, great nephew, Caleb Pugh, Tiffany O’Bryant, maternal grandmother, Audrey Phyllis Fraser; uncles, Tom Sue Harvey, Bob Fran Fraser, Don Fran Fraser; aunts, Janet Hoover and Barbara Harvey, many cousins and relatives.
He was preceded by grandparents, August Fraser, Herbert and Helen Harvey; uncles, Gary Hoover and Bill Harvey. Girlfriend, Tammy Phillips mother of Tiffany O’Bryant and Tammy’s son, Paul Coffman.
