On Monday, June 20, 2016 in Manassas, VA, Steve Robert Oliver passed after a long-battle with liver disease and cancer. Steve was a dear husband of 27 years for Tammy Rogers Oliver and father to Earl Smith and wife Kirsty; Lindsey O’Pries and wife Nicole; and Angie Oliver. He is survived by his brother Reg Oliver; his brother Rod Oliver and wife Vicki; and sister Pam Lynch and husband Richard; his mother-in-law Pauline Rogers; sister-in-law Terry Anderson and husband Dave; brother-in-law Bill Rogers and wife Erin; and brother-in-law Jeff Rogers and wife Heidi; many dear nieces and nephews; his four special grandchildren Matthew Rock, Colton Smith, Kellan Smith and Zora O’Pries; and his dog Lucky Pants. He is preceded in death by his father Clyde Oliver, mother Pauline Oliver, sister-in-law Toni Krieger and dearest companion Jazzie. Steve was a life-long Virginian and proud of his drywall and construction family line. He worked hard and enjoyed his family, his wonderful neighbors, golf, fishing, baseball and watching softball. During his long illness he found comfort at Buckhall United Methodist Church.
