Steve L. Houston, 57, of Jacksonville, IL died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
He was born August 5, 1953 in St. Louis, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters. He is survived by his companion, Becky Peacock of Jacksonville and her children and grandchildren.
Mr. Houston worked in the construction business prior to moving to Jacksonville in 1999 when he became associated with Bill W. He enjoyed using his handicapped scooter to spend time fishing at Nichols Park and play Bingo whenever possible.
