Stephen Melton “Steve” Clyatt, 71, of Providence, passed away on Sunday afternoon, April 17, 2022 at the HCA – North Florida Hospital in Gainesville after a sudden illness. He was born in Lake City on April 9, 1951 to the late Lonnie Melton Clyatt, Jr. and Joyce Terrell Clyatt.
He is survived by his brother and sister, Ricky Clyatt and Shelly Baisden; nephews, Brad Clyatt (Tracy), Jason Baisden (Courtney) and Jeremy Baisden; great nieces and nephews, Taryn, Taylor & Tyson Clyatt; Blair, Brennan, Bryleigh, Brianna, Brooklyn and Blaze Baisden. He is also survived by his very special friend, Carolyn Hosford.
