Frank Steven Barkocy, III, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, December 8, 2006. He was born to Frank and Yoshiko Barkocy on October 18, 1964 in Tachikawa, Japan. Steve graduated from Choctawhatchee High School in 1982 and attended Okaloosa Walton Junior College. He worked for the Lewis Bear Company for ten years and most recently at Hunnicutt Insurance. Steve was an avid sportsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating and the Florida Gators. He was a member of All Sports Association of Fort Walton Beach.
Steve is survived by his loving parents, his wife, Ashley Hunnicutt Barkocy and their two daughters, Macy Shae and Sydney Evelyn, his sister ElizabethMalland her husband, William, their daughter, Madison and many dear friends. Steve loved being a father. He always had a warm smile and a kind word for everyone. He will be remembered for his sincerity, loyalty, generosity and thoughtfulness.
