Steve A. Bacsa, Jr., 70, of Granger, Indiana, passed away at 12:55 a.m., Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Hospice House. He was born on December 6, 1943 in South Bend to Steve A. Bacsa, Sr. and Virginia (Niedbalski) Bacsa, and was a lifelong resident. Steve retired from Sears, Roebuck and Co. in April 2007. He was employed as a Service Manager for 38 years. On June 4, 1966 in St. Patrick Church, he married Beth Anne Niesen, who survives. Also surviving are his two daughters, Dawn Thackston (Scott Vitale) of Granger, Indiana and Amy (Ryan) Modlin of Olney, Maryland; his son, Michael (Tresa) Bacsa of Granger, Indiana; three grandchildren, Emma Grace, Amanda, and Owen; one sister, Virginia “Cookie” (John) Bejma of Arkansas; and one brother, Jim (Sue) Bacsa of Granger, Indiana.
