Stephen T. “Pat” Poczatek, Age 91, lost his long battle with Alzheimer’s disease on May 19, 2014 in Maysville, Kentucky.
Pat was born November 15, 1922, in the small town of Hinckley, New York to John and Mary Prazu Poczatek. He was the youngest of eight children. They often called him ” Patches” due to the tattered and mended clothes that were handed down to him. That nickname was eventually shortened to ‘Pat’.
Pat is survived by his son Bill and his family, wife Patti and grandchildren Olivia, 12; Caleb, 10; Caroline, 6 and Jack, 3 of Vanceburg, Ky. He is also survived by one sister, Mary, 95, who lives in New Jersey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
