Stephen J. Selvaggio, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, December 5, 2010, in Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of the late Christine A. (Zubia) Selvaggio who passed away in 1995. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Frank and Philomena “Mamie” (Cacciacarro) Selvaggio. Steve proudly served his county during WWII in the Navy Seabees. He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corp as a 1st class machinist in the #2 machine shop for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii Church and it’s Holy Name Society. He also was a former member of the Bethlehem Chapter of UNICO. Besides spending time with his family, Steve was an avid bowler, and loved to play golf. Survivors: son Stephen F. Selvaggio and his wife Teresa of Bethlehem, Twp.; daughter Carol Selvaggio and her companion Ernie Brooks of Phoenix, Ariz.; brother Ralph Selvaggio and his wife Dorothy of Bethlehem; grandsons Stephen, Michael and his wife Ashli, Nicholas and Mathew.
