Stephen GurdenAge 71 of Owosso passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022.Stephen was born August 29, 1950, in Owosso, the son of V. Rodney and Dr. Elizabeth (Love) Gurden.He graduated from Owosso High School in the class of 1969.Stephen enjoyed music, playing his guitars, watching baseball, gardening, and traveling. He loved spending time with his family and friends.He married Jerri Gurden on August 5, 2012.Stephen worked as a correction officer for many years. He retired from the Department of Corrections in 2006.Stephen is survived by his wife, Jerri Gurden; children, Anna Hamrick of Florida, Stephanie Viers of North Carolina, and Stephen Gurden of Florida; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Douglas Gurden.He was predeceased by his father, V.
