He was born on December 7, 1990, in Baltimore, to Lenda and the late Stephen Everett Payne, Sr. After attending Chesapeake High School, he worked in the construction field as a stone mason.
Along with his father, Steve is preceded in death by grandmother Mary Karras, and his uncle Dewayne Kerns.
He is survived by his mom and stepdad Lenda and Joe McHenry; his two sons: Trey and Sabien Payne; his fiancee Destiny Rimmel; his two sisters: Adrianna Payne and Alex Tingler; his brother Zachary Payne; his grandmother Charlotte Towers and her husband Ron; his uncles Kenneth and Jimbo; and his aunts Stephanie, Lisa, Donna, Mary, and Elizabeth.
