Stephen Dee “Steve” Brown, age 68, of Ft Walton Beach FL, lost his battle with cancer and passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, September 9th 2015. Steve honorably served our country in the United States Air Force from March 1966 to March 1986. His first duty station was at Andrews AFB, Guam. After his tour in Guam, he was stationed at Eglin AFB in Ft Walton Beach, Florida. Next, he was stationed at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana. Steve moved from Montana to his next duty station at Elmendorf AFB in Anchorage, Alaska. Finally, he was stationed at Wright Patterson AFB in Fairborn, Ohio where he retired in March of 1986.
Steve is survived by his wife of 24 years, Patrice Brown of Ft Walton Beach FL; his son Donnie Brown and wife Faith and 5 children of Tucson AZ; his son Ryan Brown and wife Brenda (recently deceased) and 2 children of Nacogdoches TX; his son Lyon Brown and wife Angela and 5 children of Nacogdoches TX; and his step daughter Tammy Crackel and husband Paul and 2 children of Fairborn OH.
