Stephen Achim Suazo, beloved husband, father, son, and brother was called to his eternal resting place on August 18, 2016. He is survived by his wife, Rosanna Suazo; daughter, Amanda; son, Aaron; parents, Valentin B. and Annemarie Suazo; brother, Valentin H. Suazo; and sister, Tanya Ozakyol and her husband, Metin Ozakyol.
Steve was born on May 12, 1964 in San Jose, Costa Rica. He grew up in South America and Southeast Asia, attending International Schools and traveling with his parents and siblings. Steve graduated from the International School Manila in 1982 and came to Albuquerque to attend The University of New Mexico where he earned a MBA from the Anderson School of Management.
