Stephanie Janelle Timmerman-Ayers, 51, was born August 26, 1961 to Kenneth and Floy (Heermann) Timmerman. Four weeks ago, she was diagnosed with cancer too far advanced to be treatable. She went home to glory on her favorite holiday, Christmas Eve Day, 2012.
Stephanie graduated from Zion Lutheran School and Brighton High School. She was the mother of three daughters: Jessica (Cameron) Carlson of Henry, Nebraska, Megan (Luke) Newlon of Florence, Colorado, and Lynsey Ayers, of Chadron, Nebraska. Her pride and joy was her granddaughter, Tatum Carlson.
Stephanie worked at various jobs in Brighton and most recently at Ritchey Manufacturing. She did sewing and alterations for countless persons under the name of “Stitches from the Heart”.
Four years ago, she was preceded to glory by her brother, Kim Timmerman.
In addition to her daughters and parents, she leaves her sisters, Mary Truax of Brighton; Christa (Ron) Nelson and Heidi Buss of Peetz, Colorado; nephews, nieces, and many other relatives and friends.
