Stephanie R. Wiatrowski, 93, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 3:50 pm Saturday, April 14, 2007 in her home.
She was born on December 26, 1913 to the late Edward and Ursula (Widawski) Gudynowski in South Bend, IN, and was a lifelong resident. Along with her parents; five sisters, Helen Kowalski; Stella Gish; Bernice Ewald; Casmiera Nemeth; Henrietta DeLoof; and one brother, Henry Gudynowski also preceded her in death.
Stephanie graduated from Washington High School in South Bend.
On October 16, 1937, as Stephanie R. Gudynowski, she married Feliks L. Wiatrowski at St. Hedwig Catholic Church in South Bend, IN. He died on August 3, 2004.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela (Don) Coar of South Bend, IN; several nieces & nephews; one brother-in-law, Edward Ewald of South Bend, IN; and her special caregiver and beloved friend, Wanda Rzasa of South Bend, IN.
Mrs. Wiatrowski was a member of St. Hedwig Parish, where she belonged to the Rosary Society of St. Hedwig Church.
