Stella Robison was born February 12, 1930 to Julius Loughead and Mary (Myers) Loughead in Pennville, Missouri. She passed from this life Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at her home in Mitchellville, Iowa at the age of 85 years, with family and friends surrounding her.
Stella grew up and attended a one room schoolhouse in the Pennville, Missouri area. In 1970, Stella was united in marriage to Gordon W. Robison. The couple made their home in Lucas, Iowa. Stella was blessed with two daughters, Fern and Sheila. Stella spent her time taking care of her home and family. In her spare time she did like to crochet, cook, and travel.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, Julius Gidney Loughead and Mary Elizabeth (Myers) Loughead; her first husband, William Spencer; her second husband, Gordon W. Robison; her brothers, Leonard, Dale and Orie Loughead; her sisters, Ruth Paige, Ethel Myers, Lily Hammons, and Delphine Pitt.
She is survived by her daughters, Fern Woody of Mitchellville, Iowa and Sheila Andersen of Lucas, Iowa; eight grandchildren and five great grand children; her brother, Junior Loughead of Unionville, Missouri; her sisters, Alice Holiday of Pennville, Missouri, Helen Wright of Tanneyville, Missouri and Dorothy Hobbs of Trenton, Missouri; many nieces, nephews, and cherished friends.
