Stella (Achomovich) Jaegle, 97, of Oglesby passed away, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at her home.
Mrs. Jaegle was born September 13, 1923 in Streator to Joseph and Victoria (Gorisek) Achomovich. She married Ernest Jaegle on May 1, 1943 at St. Casimir Church in Streator. He passed away July 10, 2004. She was a homemaker and a member of LaSalle County Extension, St. John’s Quilting Group and the Catholic Foresters’. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing, quilting, cooking, baking and assisted with the family farm.
She is survived by her children, Carol Strack of Peru; Bill Jaegle of Tonica and Joyce (John) Rancingay of Oglesby; a daughter-in-law, Gail Jaegle of Tonica; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Dale Jaegle; a grandson, Mark Jaegle; her brother, Joseph Pasieka and her sister, Mary Kim.
Pallbearers will be Eric Carls, Jerrit Dodge, Jerry Honecker, Justin McCoy, John Rancingay, James Strack and Albert Kleczewski.
