Stella (Kozikowski) Bujnowski, 84, of Newington, passed away and was reunited with the love of her life, her late husband George, on Saturday, June 1, 2013. Stella was born on December 30, 1928 to Walter and Annie Kozikowski of Suffield, CT. She grew up in Suffield and worked on the family farm alongside her brothers and sisters who became her best friends throughout her life. Stella and George moved to Newington in 1957 to raise their family. Stella will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by her four children; Stanley Bujnowski and his wife Mary of Houston, TX, Teresa Bujnowski of New Britain, Joseph Bujnowski and his wife Paula of Portland and Elizabeth Penfield and her husband Kevin of Newington. Stella will always be remembered as the sweetest Babci ever by her four grandchildren, Brandon Bujnowski of Brooklyn, NY, Rebecca Bujnowski of Harrison, TN and Alena and Alexander Bujnowski of Houston, TX. Stella also leaves behind her sisters, Mary Labun of Feeding Hills, MA and Jennie Rapalus of Rockville, MD; her brother Harry Kozikowski of Suffield; her sister-in-law Julia Kozikowski of Feeding Hills, MA and her brother-in-law Roman Bujnowski of Warsaw, Poland. “Auntie Stella” also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, all of whom she adored. Stella will once again be reunited with her parents, her brothers; Paul, Peter, Carney and Eddie; her sisters-in-law Theresa and Alina, and her brothers-in-law Henry and Frank.
