Stanley W. Dilliard, Sr., 95, of Bethlehem, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 in Country Meadows. He and his wife, Geraldine (Kurtz) Dilliard, celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary in August. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Franklin and Hattie (Trexler) Dilliard. Stanley served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was employed by HT Lyons in Allentown as a sheet metal worker for many years. Stanley was a member of St. Stephens Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bethlehem. He was also an avid hunter. Survivors: his loving wife, Geraldine; daughter, Holly Dilliard Gambler and her husband Dennis of Nazareth; son, Marcus Dilliard and his wife Cindy of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Verna Tycholiz of Allentown and 3 grandchildren, Charissa Gambler, Emily and Anna Dilliard. Stanley was preceded in death by a son Stanley W. Dilliard, Jr. in 2009, a sister Mabel Steers and brothers Melvin, Elmer, Wilbur, Herbert, Clarence and Lester.
