Stanley O. Kepler, Sr., 75 of Trout Run, died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 26, 2017. 

Born September 15, 1942 in Canton, he was a son of Jesse A. and Beatrice M. (Bassett) Kepler, 

Stanley was a Vietnam War Veteran of the U.S. Navy having served on the USS San Pablo. He worked many years in construction and had been the Business Agent for the Laborers Local #708. He retired as the human resource manager for Nicholas Meats, Loganton. Stanley enjoyed spending time with his family, going on cross country motorcycle trips, woodworking, shooting pool, playing cards and was an avid Penn State Football fan. 

Surviving are three children David Splain (Tina) of Williamsport, Christine Splain of Williamsport, and Dianne Kepler of Williamsport, 11 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a sister Deborah Nicholas of Montoursville, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons Stanley O. Kepler, Jr. in 2016, and William Joseph Kolanda, five siblings Joyce Martone, Harriett Kiessling, Gerald, Ronald, and Paul Kepler.
