Stanley J. Wisniewski, 83, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2005, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Stanley was born on November 7, 1921, in South Bend, to the late Stanley, Sr. and Josephine (Oshinski) Wisniewski, and was a lifelong area resident.
On April 12, 1947, he married Henrietta Kaizer, who survives. Along with his wife of 58 years, he is survived by his son, Tim (Mary) Wisniewski of South Bend; two grandchildren, Todd (Ann) Wisniewski of South Bend and Heather (Briley) Rooney of Muncie, Indiana; two great-grandchildren, Lauren and Lacie; a sister, Marlene Ryback of South Bend; and two brothers, Robert Wisner and Ronald Wisniewski, both of South Bend. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Leona Burkus and a brother, Richard Wisniewski.
Mr. Wisniewski retired from AM General after over 25 years of service. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
