Stanley Cottle peacefully passed away at his residence in Manchester, CT on June 9, 2021 at the age of 87. Beloved husband for nearly 60 years of Patricia Ann (O’Leary) Cottle who predeceased him. Stan was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma in 1933 in a log cabin on the Hedges farm, the son of the late Stanley G. Cottle and Bessie (Mangan) Cottle.
The Cottle family moved to California where Stan graduated from high school and enlisted as a private in the United States Marine Corps.
He will be sorely missed and is together again in Heaven with his dear Paddy, Warren, and crazy dog Killer. He is predeceased by his son Stanley Warren Cottle and his siblings Alfred, Margaret, and Charlotte. Stanley is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Barry and Betsy (MacDonald) Cottle of Ellington, CT and their children Thomas and Shannon, as well as Barbara and William Herlth (Mother of grandsons Stephen and Michael and Kristi Herlth). He is also survived by his brothers James, David, and Robert and his sisters June Yearout and Judy Ray.
