Stanley A. Sexton, of Mt. Laurel, formerly of Burlington, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2009 at his residence at the age of 63. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Sexton lived most of his life in Burlington, He was a graduate of All Saints Parochial School and Burlington City High School, Class of ’64. He played basketball for both schools. As an adult, Stan was a sportsman who enjoyed bow hunting and trapping, and he was a passionate fisherman. A friend said of him, “If anyone was going to catch a fluke, it would be Stan.” He belonged to Ducks Unlimited and also to the Roma Club, in Burlington, where he played in their dart league.

As a sportsman, Stan was also environmentally conscious and was a supporter of organizations that were working to prevent pollution and to clean up bay and tidal waters. Stan worked as a lab technician for Rohm and Haas Company in their additives division, working at the Bristol plant for 37 years and at their Spring House, PA plant for 1 year. Stan was married for 39 years to his high school sweetheart, Pauline (nee Borkowski) and he was “Daddy” to Stephanie Richman and husband, Brian, of Mt. Laurel, brother to the late Joanne Dickey, brother in law to Leon “Bucko” and Jeanne Borkowski, uncle to Lauren Borkowski, Natasha Dickey, and the late Linda Dickey, nephew to Marian and Tony Pitale, Mary Borkowski and Charles Comegno, as well as cousin and friend to many including his closest friends, Louie, Bruce, Butch and Joe..
