Obit for Sister Elizabeth Ann Kelly, RSMSister Elizabeth Ann Kelly, RSM, age 91 a member of the Sisters of Mercy, Mid Atlantic, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at McAuley Convent in Merion, Pennsylvania. A dedicated elementary educator, Sister Elizabeth taught for over 30 years in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and for four years in Jacksonville, North Carolina. For six years, she served at principal for Gwynedd Mercy Academy for boys in Gwynedd Valley, Pennsylvania. In Sister’s later career she was a reading specialist for Counseling or Referral Assistance (CORA) services in Philadelphia and then served as a school librarian at St. Dorothy’s School in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania.S. Elizabeth will be remembered for her kindness, spirit of generosity and love of children. Her sense of fun and enjoyment especially with her family and community sisters was legend. Sister will be deeply missed by her community, many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
