Obituary of Sr. Conger
Mr. Conger, a lifelong member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church died Tuesday, August 24,2004 at Saint Lukes Episcopal Hospital in Houston, TX. He lived and worked overseas for twenty years with Saudi Aramco before retiring in 2000.
Mr. Conger is survived by his wife, Jane Conger; mother, Nell Conger of Oak Ridge,LA; daughter, Gretchen Conger of Monroe,LA; son, Edwin Bernard Conger,Jr. of Shreveport,LA; brothers in law, Bruce Garner and Mike Garner; sisters in law, Sandra Ford and Pat Conger; nephews, Jon Conger and Joe Conger and a niece, Sue Ann Poling.
He is preceded in death by his father, Sam Conger; son, William Conger and a brother, Joe Conger.
The Conger family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to all of those who have helped by donating blood, plasma and platelets during their time of need.
