Mr. Freeland is survived by his wife, Virginia Lifsey Freeland; brother, Carter Freeland of Bastrop,LA; three grandchildren, Jennipher Spector, Matthew McPherson and Jessica Slavin; two great grandchildren, Logan Spector and Clay Spector and a wide circle of family and friends.
He is preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Freeland McPherson.
