Sonya Vanessa Alania
Sonya Vanessa Alania, 18, a resident of Gooding, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013 of injuries sustained in an auto accident near Wendell.
Sonya was born on December 25, 1994 in Jerome, Idaho, the youngest of three children born to Socimo and Olivia Alania. She was raised and educated in Gooding where she was currently a Senior at Gooding High School.
Sonya was an Honor Student and loved playing volleyball and track. Sonya was a member of H.O.S.A. – Health Occupations Students of America.
She is survived by: her parents, Socimo and Olivia Alania of Gooding; her sister, Brenda (Javier R. Castro) Alania of Jerome; her brother, Robert (Jennifer) Alania of Gooding; her nieces, Natalli, Sofia and Isabella; and nephews, Aquiles, Kolby, Kaullin and Karson.
