Sonny Caldwell
Donald R. Caldwell, 70, Ringgold, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016. Sonny was a lifelong resident of Catoosa Co and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He served in law enforcement for 22 years as a detective for the Walker Co. Sheriffs Department and a Captain for Catoosa County Sheriff’s Department. Afterwards Sonny served as the Elected Chief Magistrate Judge of Catoosa Co. from 1997 until his retirement in 2011.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years Pat Caldwell, son, Michael (Beth) Caldwell, Ringgold, mother, Nena Caldwell, brother, Bob Caldwell, Carroll Co, grandchildren, Olivia and Lauren, and several nieces and nephews.
