Sonia C. Santagata, age 74, of Torrington and longtime Norwalk resident, died Monday, February 16, at the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington. She was the wife of 55 years of John F. Santagata. Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 15, 1934, Sonia was the daughter of the late Angelo and Theresa Villano Confortini and has lived in Torrington for the past 3 years. She was a waitress at Skipper’s Restaurant in Norwalk for many years and was also a demo person for Shoprite. She enjoyed working with ceramics, loved to dance and adored and cherished her 5 grandchildren. She was also a member of the St. Ann Club .
In addition to her husband John, Sonia is survived by her daughters Joy A.
