Sona Faith Moran Biondi-Soli, age 82, beloved wife of Romeo Soli of Milford, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2006 in Milford Hospital. She was born in Waterbury on July 16, 1923, she graduated from schools in Naugatuck and lived much of her life in Waterbury and Prospect before moving to Milford in 1989. During WWII she was a member of the United States Marine Corp. Women’s Reserve from 1943 – 1945. She later attended and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, 1949. Mrs. Soli taught English in Naugatuck’s middle school for 36 years before her retirement. She loved her country and all her adult life was a fiercely outspoken liberal democrat. Besides her husband she leaves two sons Mark P. Biondi and Patricia O’Brien of Milford, S. Mathew Biondi Candore of Hamden and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Pasquale R. Biondi, and a brother Jack Moran.
