Sister Dorine was born in Washington, DC and it was the Sisters of the Holy Cross who taught her at St. Patrick’s Academy that nurtured her vocation. She taught in elementary schools for almost 50 years. Her East Coast roots and almost four decades of teaching in Texas gave a unique inflection to her speech. She died in peace at Saint Mary’s Convent at the age of 93.
Reception of the body and wake service on Tuesday, February 11 at 4:30 pm with Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday, February 12 at 10:30 am. All ceremonies in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto.
