Sister Jane Moira Hallaron, a Sister of Mercy, on Monday, October 26, 2009, at Catherine McAuley Convent, Barling, Arkansas. Beloved daughter of the late Mae Louise Fallo and Ferrick Joseph Hallaron. Sr. Jane was born on September 3, 1931. She entered the Sisters of Mercy at Webster Groves, Missouri, on September 8, 1954, made her first vows on August 16, 1957, and her final vows on August 16, 1960.

Sister received a Bachelor of Science in Education in Elementary Education from St. Mary’s Dominican College, New Orleans.

Sister Jane retired to Our Lady Wisdom in Algiers in 1999 and then moved to McAuley Convent in 2006.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ferrick (Mike) Hallaron, Jr., two sisters, Patricia Hallaron (Mrs. Harold) Ducote and Barbara Colleen Hallaron (Mrs. Joseph) Logreco. She is survived by her sisters Marie Louise Hallaron (Mrs. Herbert) Horil and Margaret (Molly) Hallaron (Mrs. George) Keenan, and brothers John (Jack) Dennis Hallaron and Lawrence Samuel Hallaron, II, and fifteen nieces and nephews.
