Shirley Y. Hodgdon Shirley Y. Hodgdon, 78, of Ridgefield, passed away on October 16. She was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina and moved to Ridgefield in 1968 with her late husband, Theodore A. Hodgdon, Jr. She was a loving wife and mother, and supported her children in all their endeavors. Her vast community involvement included volunteering at the Keeler Tavern, serving as a leader in the Ridgefield Woman’s Club, the PTA, the Eastern Airlines Wives Club and the Ridgefield Tiger Hockey Association.
