Shirley Wallace Landrum, age 78 formerly of 207 Salisbury Circle died Saturday August 11, 2012 at Emeritus Assisted Living Community, Danville. She was born November 3, 1933 in Roxboro, NC to the late Walter Wallace and the late Geneva Jackson Johnson. September 28, 2012 she would have celebrated 50 years of marriage to Charlie David Landrum. Mrs. Landrum was a member of the Baptist Tabernacle where she served as assistant Sunday School Teacher. In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters; Lisa Harrison and husband Scot of Danville, Linda Jones and husband Steve of King, NC and Gail Denny of Hillsborough, NC: one son David Anthony Landrum and wife Kay of South Boston, VA: two sisters; Dorothy Carver of Roxboro, NC and Diane Strickland of Myrtle Beach, SC: eight grandchildren; Ryan Ross, Elisabeth Harrison, Isabella Harrison, Jessica Jones, Joshua Jones, Jay Denny, Tony Landrum and Travis Landrum: one great-grandchild; William Denny. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by one son Steve Wrenn.
